Choose Love More

 

Lovemore is a message, an experience, and a call to action—a call to let love be our guiding principle in every situation. As individuals, there’s only one way that we can control how much love, peace and joy we have in our lives, and that is to put it there. The only way to truly experience love in all moments is to bring love to each and every moment.

 

Rather than denying the reality of a tough situation or decision, the goal of Lovemore is to strive to be more awake and attuned in every moment, asking each time: “What would it look like if I honored love over fear right now?” “What if I chose compassion over anger, or peace over frustration?”

 

Quite the opposite of an unquestioning, Pollyanna-ish approach to life, Lovemore is all about opening our eyes and our hearts in both the simplest and the most complex situations.

 

The world is ready for more love, and Lovemore’s mission is to spark a change in the way we think, inspiring each and every one of us to bring more love, joy and peace into our day-to-day lives. To accomplish this, we’ve created an ever-expanding line of stylish products, created with the health of people and the planet in mind, that carry our message into the world in the hopes of activating conversations and interactions that encourage individuals to choose love more.

 

 

Lovemore was founded in 2008 by soul sisters (and actual siblings) Andrea and Angela Crossman, who both dedicated themselves to careers in the holistic arts after pursuing more traditional professional paths in the business world. Now, the Crossman sisters are back in business, this time as founders of the social entrepreneurship venture Lovemore, LLC.

 

The venture began with a simple yet profound inspiration: Andrea and Angela realized that a single choice—the decision to love more—could change everything. And that’s when they struck upon the mantra that would transform their lives: “love more.” Though we may forget sometimes, the truth of the matter is that we get to choose what we experience. How? By bringing the very thing that we want to every situation. Namely, love.

 

To get the message out there, the sisters created a handful of t-shirts bearing the words “love more” to wear and share with friends. Andrea and Angela quickly discovered that—in addition to reminding them to infuse each moment with a little more love— wearing the message often gave ordinary situations a little extra lovemore mojo. The positive response to the tees from both friends and strangers on the streets of New York, where the sisters work and play, encouraged them to share the love with the rest of the world.

 

Inspired by the power of the message, they began building a business that embodies the Lovemore philosophy—from the partners they work with, to the products they make, to the love they bring to the work itself. As the company evolves, they’re documenting what they learn in this social entrepreneurship venture to share their triumphs and challenges with the hope of inspiring others to do what they love, with love.
